Historically, the “pre-tied(ready-made) type” has existed since the late 19th century, when bow ties first became popular, as has the “self tie type”. Both have coexisted for a long time, but the “pre-tied type” is more common today.

The "Triangle end" is a combination of "Standard oblique-end" and "Cut square-end" shaped bow ties. There is a cloth overlapped in the front and back, and only the triangular part of the rear cloth can be seen.
